Dr. Sujit Kumar is a senior Neurologist and best Epileptologist in Bangalore. He is an alumnus of KempeGowda Institute for Medical Sciences MBBS (1993-1999), St. Johns Medical College MD (2001-2004), and Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education & Research DM Neurology (2005-2008).
He has extensive interests in Medically Refractory Epilepsy. He has setup 24 24-hour Video EEG monitoring facility at Apollo Hospitals and has a well-equipped Neurophysiology Laboratory
He works up patients with medically refractory epilepsy and has been involved with more than 100 epilepsy surgeries in Bangalore and Chennai which include temporal, extratemporal epilepsy surgeries and StereoEEG intracranial invasive monitoring, awake craniotomies for epilepsy, insular gliomas, intraoperative EEG monitoring for carotid endarterectomies. He has huge interest in Neuro-Ophthalmology and conducts twice weekly specialist clinic in Narayana Nethralaya.
